
Balduin is in charge of strategy and day-to-day management of Frontier Renewables. Before Frontier, Balduin was head of equity markets for Bloomberg News in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He managed 27 journalists in 17 bureaus covering the latest in global equity markets. Balduin received his MBA from INSEAD in December 2008. During his time at INSEAD, he worked as a summer associate for Merrill Lynch & Co. within the telecommunications, media and technology team in London. His main focus was on the solar PV and solar thermal industries. Balduin also has an MSJ from Northwestern University and a BA from Duke University.

Reinhard brings a lifetime of architectural and engineering experience. He has built and planned for both private and public clients all over Germany and in the U.S. In 1979, he was one of the first to work on a joint-venture project between East and West Germany, the design and building of a planetarium in Wolfsburg. Reinhard has won international recognition for his work, which included concepts for the sensitive handling of the environment and urban growth. Reinhard has 30+ years experience in the engineering, construction and architectural space and has an extensive network of clients in the U.S. and Europe. Reinhard received his Dipl. Ing. Degree in Architecture from the University of Braunschweig in 1970.

Adam is in charge of the day-to-day project management, planning and construction oversight of power plant developments. He manages the costs, time scheduling, procurement and oversight of subcontractors to ensure that plants are completed to the stringent specifications required by Frontier Renewables. Adam received his Dipl.-Ing. Architecture degree from the University of Applied Sciences at the Bauhaus School in Dessau, Germany in 1998. Adam is based in Wolfsburg, Germany and will manage Frontier’s German office and project pipeline.

Karl has over 30 years experience as a senior executive of U.S. corporations, emerging growth companies and startups, with strong semiconductor technology and international experience. He has a broad multi-industry background, and previous roles included Chief Financial Officer at Alliance Semiconductor, nCHIP, Inc., nDSP and MicroDisplay, and Corporate Controller of Intel Corporation. Karl received his BS in Accounting and Finance from San Jose State University and is qualified as a CPA. Karl also studied electrical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

Ben has experience in the United States and Asia advising clients on a broad range of business and environmental matters, including transnational litigation, licensing, venture capital and angel financing, securities transactions, joint ventures, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, natural resources and emissions management, sustainability strategy and international trade policy. Previously, he was the lead attorney for Paladin Law Group’s Cleantech and Energy Practice, and Manager of Morrison & Foerster’s Cleantech Practice. Ben received his J.D. and M.B.A. degree from Temple University in 2006 and his B.A. degree in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University in 2002.
